Power To Gas
The ability to generate hydrogen and oxygen from water has been known for a long time. Jules Verne once wrote, “…water will one day be employed as fuel, that hydrogen and oxygen which constitute it, used singly or together, will furnish an inexhaustible source of heat and light…” Although this energy paradigm has not been realized in its entirety today, many markets are opening for the onsite generation and delivery of hydrogen.
The hydrogen can be used for industrial processes, injected into existing natural gas pipelines, or even converted into liquid fuels. Coupling hydrogen generation with solar, wind, or other renewable source of power provides a sustainable version of Jules Verne’s vision.
Infinity’s Hydrogen Generators are ideally suited to renewable applications as they are capable of responding instantly to rapid fluctuations in power. They also offer high pressure generation and delivery potential, increasing system reliability and reducing overall operating costs.
