Infinity Fuel Cell and Hydrogen: Q3 2026 Company Update
Advancing fuel cell technology from custom prototypes toward production
During the third quarter, Infinity Fuel Cell and Hydrogen continued to advance its fuel cell technology for demanding applications on and beyond Earth. Progress across space systems and underwater power applications reflects the company’s ongoing focus on moving from custom prototypes toward production-scale manufacturing.
Space Milestones
Infinity delivered one of its most advanced 2 kW fuel cell stacks to NASA Glenn Research Center for a lunar regenerative fuel cell prototype. The delivery supports an early test build of the full system. Surviving the two-week lunar night is a key challenge for establishing a sustained human presence on the Moon. Regenerative fuel cells may play an important role in addressing this challenge by supporting power generation and storage as part of an integrated energy system. Infinity’s work in low Earth orbit also continues, including life-support systems for crewed spacecraft.
Underwater Production
Infinity is building underwater power systems under a production contract with NautiGEN/Cellula Robotics in support of the Defense Innovation Unit’s (DIU) Campaigning and Maneuverable AUVs (CAMP) program. Deliverables are on track for the fourth quarter of 2026. The CAMP program calls for an autonomous underwater vehicle capable of traveling 1,400 nautical miles and operating at depths exceeding 200 meters. Cellula Robotics’ Guardian, powered by Infinity’s Mystic 2000™ technology, is part of the team led by prime contractor Metron. The CAMP demonstration is scheduled for March 2027. This program represents an important step in advancing Infinity’s underwater power technology from prototype development into production.
Business Momentum and Outlook
Infinity continues to market follow-on production units with NautiGEN/Cellula Robotics, with interest coming from around the world. The company holds more than $60 million in past and current contracts and licensing agreements and expects 2026 to be a profitable year, with revenue in line with its strategic plan.
Looking Ahead
Infinity’s focus remains on moving from custom prototypes to production-scale manufacturing. With continued work in space applications, underwater power systems, and follow-on production opportunities, the company is working to expand the deployment of its fuel cell technology across demanding operating environments.
From the depths of the ocean to the surface of the Moon, Infinity is advancing fuel cell and hydrogen technologies for applications on Earth and beyond.
