Infinity™ founder and CEO, William F. Smith, has been appointed to the state of Connecticut’s Task Force to Study Hydrogen-Fueled Energy in the State’s Economy and Energy Infrastructure.
The appointment was made by state representative Vincent J. Candelora (R-86th district). The task force is charged with creating a report to be submitted to the state legislature in January of 2023.
Mr. Smith has over 30 years of experience in the area of hydrogen fuel cells and electrolyzers. After 10 years working with these technologies at the Hamilton Standard division of United Technologies (now the Collins division of Raytheon Corp.), he co-founded Proton energy systems which went public on the NASDAQ in 2000, and then was the single-founder of Infinity Fuel Cell and Hydrogen, Inc. in 2002.
