Responsibilities:
- Create and/or review Engineering design standards
- Physically compare work to the actual products being represented in the manuals
- Update existing content that can be repurposed for use as product information, training materials, support content, proposals, policies/procedures, and other knowledge assets
- Work with Engineering team to define publication services requirements
- Manage publications projects including cost, schedule, and quality of delivered products
- Produce, update, revise, edit technical documentation
- Provide translation of technical documentation
- Manage the review of Engineering drawings
- Validate bills of material against CAD and other Engineering data to ensure accurate flow of information to Purchasing
- Aid the engineering team with internal and external slide presentations as required
Qualifications:
- Excellent writing skills and detail-oriented
- Prior work experience in a Technology based company
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple, changing priorities
- Demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently, collaborate in a team environment
- Demonstrated aptitude for data critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook
- Experience using Adobe Acrobat Professional and Adobe Illustrator
- Preferred but not required: Familiarity with CAD packages, specifically CREO and Solidworks
- Preferred but not required: Familiarity with PDM systems, specifically WindChill, Document Locator, and DocuSign
- At least two years of creating and managing technical documentation
- BA/BS or Associates degree in Engineering, Management, Business, or related field
